About Pollytic

Pollytic is an independent site that brings together election polls from around the world in one place. For each of more than 70 countries it shows every published voting-intention poll, a polling average, the trend over time, the current government and the date of the next election — and, once a vote is held, the official results.

What makes it different

• Every figure is attributed. Each poll names the institute that conducted it and links to the original publication, unchanged.
• An honest average. The polling average is a simple mean of recent polls, explained in full in our methodology. It is not a forecast.
• Updated every day. New polls are collected several times a day and checked before they appear; official results are published automatically after each election.
• Free to read. No account and no paywall. The site is funded by advertising.

Independence

Pollytic is not affiliated with any party, campaign, government or polling institute, and does not run scientific polls of its own. Reader opinion polls on the site are clearly labelled as reader votes.
